What makes you happier?

Finding out you unintentionally lost (or gained, if that's the goal) weight, or finding out you lost (or gained) weight after striving and working towards it?

I've been in a bit of a funk that's been having an effect on my appetite lately - as in, I don't have one - and when I'm not working I tend to shut myself in my bedroom and sleep. As a result, it's made me lose approximately 11lbs.

I've always found I lose weight easier when not trying than I do when I'm actively trying, so it always makes me a bit happy when I've found out I've lost a couple pounds.
