I usually wax but apparently this is healthier
Anyone tried it? Better than waxing? Any nasty side effects?
Try googling... Wikipedia has a good article. Functionally it is almost indistinguishable from waxing. Indeed some people use the term waxing when they are actually referring to sugar-based hair removal products. Wax, in pure form will not remove hair, most wax based hair removal products are mixtures of rosin, paraffin wax and beeswax.
The most critical factors is the skill of the person doing the hair removal and the cost of the products. Goofy essential oils and whatnot are gimmicks to help lighten the consumer's wallet. Attention to proper pre-removal and post-removal basics are far more important.
Let a pro do it once with anything, and then you'll know how to do it yourself. Just don't buy any particular product or salon's marketing BS.
My ex did this and really was satisfied with the approach.
I've never tried it but it looks like a good alternative
