Should I try ıntermittent fasting?

I'd been on a really strict diet since the last spring. At the end, I've lost 10 kilos, cut mysugar addiction and started to eat like a bird. But for 1 month, I've been binging a lot and I've been feeling like Im gonna gain weight again. During the summer holiday, I did 45 minutes cardio at the gym + at least 45 minutes outside jogging. since my school has started, I can only go to the gym for 3-4 at most 5 times a week. and I had to quit jogging. Plus, my eating schedule has changed with my school. I have to have my breakfast at 6 am, have my lunch at 11 am and logically, have my dinner at 4 am. During the holiday, I was sleeping all day and then snacking fruits until the dinner which was often a healthy salad. I dont wanna get my huge appetite back. I'd suffered from binge eating for 3 years and I thought this year was the end.

anyway, I thought intermittent fasting could help me to settle my appetite. But Im kinda skeptical about it. Because I dont wanna gain muscles while doing this diet. I wanna slim down my legs and lose 10 more kilos. I also dont want it to affect my lessons and my energy because of the starvation. I still wanna go and do cardio and study hard for my exams during my weight loss journey.
Frankly, Im not sure about how it works. I thought I could eat a nice breakfast with protein at 6 am , fast for 16 hours and then eat my last meal at 10pm.
Taking my purposes into consideration, should I try it?
