Should I stop lifting till my lower back is completely better?

The 1st of September I messed up my lower back due to bad form whilst lifting, ever since then I haven't done no back work or anything that activates the lower back but I have been doing stuff like Traps, Forearms, Chest and abit of delts

my back has healed to some degree but it's taken 1 month and 5 days to get abit better, also some days it hurts more then other days.

Should I stop lifting entirely until it's healed and do you think if I did stop lifting, would it make a difference?
