Insecure about my height?

So I'm about 5'3" and I'm 13. I've always been really self-conscious about my height though. I always felt too tall tbh. My mom is 5'5" and my dad is 5'7". Most of the women on my moms side are above 5'8" where most of the women on my dads side are below 5'5". I started puberty when I was 11 so about two years ago and I thought I was done growing but apparently I grew another inch. My parents are always saying how tall I am, but am I really that tall? And how can I stop these insecurities?

The average height for an American woman is 5'4-5'5 so no, you're not really that tall. At 13 you may feel overly tall but trust me, soon everyone will catch up. I was 5'6 at 13, so I understand. I'm 5'8 now and it may surprise you but there are girls a fair amount taller than me in my grade (I'm a senior). You may feel too tall now but it gets better! You're actually shorter than average for an adult so don't worry.

Hmm.. I think sometimes we grow fast at first and then slow down the rest of the time. That's what happened to me anyways. I used to be the tallest of my siblings and now I'm for sure the shortest. :)

Honestly, for a girl that fine... seeing as your dad is 5'7 you will most probably be around 5'6... also girls seem to have growth spurts before boys so once you are 15/16 you will start to see a lot of the boys in school become taller and before you know it you will be one of the shortest. Hope that helped.

No, you're actually a little shorter than average. In my opinion, 5'3 is an attractive height. But that's coming from a short guy, myself.

Oh and I'm response to your update, you will probably have one more growth spurt and reach your adult height in the next couple of years. Bit i doubt you will get more than 2 or 3 inches taller.

You are short. Personally I don't even date girls shorter than 5'8 'cause I'm tall myself and tall girls are so hot with their long legs and the way clothes suit them. But you are short and there is nothing wrong with that. Height is not something women should worry about.

For myself and all my friends we prefer short girls. Also you are still very young people are just discovering what they like in a partner at your age and even at my age i am still learning about myself and what i like and what I want in a relationship.

Tell yourself this is who you are and you should just accept it. I'm 5'5 and I used to be insecure because I thought who would like a short guy, but one day I just told myself to not give a damn, and ever since, I didn't give a damn. Just love yourself for who you are.

You're not too tall at all. I'm the one who's too tall, lol. You're 13, so you will probably still grow another couple of inches over the next couple of years. You'll be at an ideal height.

The height goes along female lines, so if your mum and her mum are tall , you and your kids will be tall as well. You should be tankful for having such good genes. Tall girls are cool
