What is this horrible looking place on my face?

This is a place on my younger brother's face. It's been a couple of weeks. We took him to his doctor. She checked it for staff infection and the test came back negative. She gave him some antibiotics and told him to put hydrogen peroxide on it one time. They don't seem to be helping much. We have tried so many different kinda of facial washes since his face breaks out so badly, but everything seems to make it worse or it'll stay the same. Is this just a huge breakout or is it something to worry about? Should we try another doctor?

I see you wrote his insurance won't cover another Dr. It should if the first quack gives you a referral.

GP aren't dermatologists. They really don't know it all.
A med student that finishes last in his class is still called Dr.

go see a dermatologist or you can always try
-Apple Cidar Vinegar after shower
-Raw 100% Honey after shower
-Tea Tree oil after shower

I randomly broke out really bad this year and they worked for me.

Not the honey. That's oily skin, it'll only do it worse. Everything else he said is good.

Try another doctor. Get a second opinion. Let the new doctor know that you had already went to a doctor and would like some immediate answers.

ah Gotcha :/ unfortunately i do think a derm would be your best choice. if you get a referral from the doctor insurance wouldn't cover any of it? gah I hate insurance companies and their selfish stinginess. I could start flipping through my textbooks (med student here haha) but I don't know if i would find something useful
