I don't know much about these things, but I really have a hard time believing they are effective. I've seen girls wearing them while they work out and all I can think about is how it messes up what they're doing. If you want a slim and trim waist, the only way to get it is through diet and exercise. Wearing a corset won't do anything to help your weight loss.
displacing 'surface' fat down in between your organs seems detrimental to one's long term health in my opinion.
Does a corset do that? I dont know actually.
If you want a flat stomach you would want to build strength in the abdomen and lower your body fat %.
