Lol omg it's not funny but we are becoming hella lazy! I admit it, I'm lazy as heck ! BUT yessss the hover board thing is sooo cool but I want it just to ride around on & like I can go outside & ride down the street on it lol! I wouldn't use it to like go grocery shopping or anything tho, that's too far lol! & like even in hospitals! I'm a surgical tech & they have robots for more & more surgeries now!! & a nurse was saying how soon, places won't even need workers bc robots might take over lol! & it might be true! Even like now a days in grocery stores or fast
Food places, u might see a cashier STRUGGLING to give u the right amount of change bc they rely on the computers too much! If the computer is broken, they probably wouldn't even know the basic math smh! Yesss we as a human race ARE getting like super lazy! It's sad but so true! I mean things are way more convenient & technology is AMAZE balls! BUT it's making us lazy as heck!

humans are evolving/ devolving depending on how you view it. this is the process. just like how everything else evolves. this "human" phase is not the final destination. so yes we are becoming dependent on technology. and maybe marvel got it right. maybe we will be cyborgs
and we aren't to judge if thats good or bad
you feel?
I would not say it is the human race that is lethargic.. it is the stupid greedy governments as well as the greedy corporations.. like the power companies, insurance companies, water companies.. etc etc.. that all want to make bigger dollars then they already have, and that is all they care about.. the people do not matter to them at all.. and in turn people that work hard and are trying to just make it in this world have lost all faith in those systems and the lying governments... thus turning humanity and their views into something very different then they might have other wise been.
No, we're not becoming lethargic. We were always lethargic. ALL animals are lazy. Every animal, given the ability, will conserve as much energy as possible doing nothing and move only to keep itself alive and have sex. It just appears that we are more lazy because we have more sedentary activities available to us. In the future, when we have virtual reality, it'll be even worse.
WALL-E is pretty much a prediction of the future. I call it a "fictional documentary" much like Idiocracy.

Many, if not all, civilisations have a period of decadence before their downfall. Take the Fall of Rome for example.

They got lazy. There was an enlarging gap between rich and poor. Shit went down. Followed by 500 years of civil unrest., then the Roman Empire was sacked.
Okay, we may not go down EXACTLY like this, but it's important to learn from history.I think the human race will enlighten before this happens, though I have no evidence, its just something I believe to be likely. Human enlightenment in term will cause humans to think more before they act.
TL:DR; I don't think so, due to advancements in medicine and thought. We've always been headed towards that. Every invention man has created was done to make a task simpler. Why spend a day chopping a tree with a stone axe when a bronze axe can cut the time in half. Why use a bronze axe when you can use steel. Why use an axe when you can use a saw. Why use a saw when you can use a chainsaw. You get my drift. It's a succession of Innovations that save time. This will continue into the future with all aspects of life. Some day all we'll have is leisure time.
Here the weather makes you lethargic. I'd have to agree with other posters though... humans have always been lethargic and would likely still be so if it wasn't for governments forcing us into work daily to earn a monetary wage to survive.
Yes! People are exercising less as well. People would spend hours watching tv and texting than going to the mall.
I think that in th near future it will appear movments appealing to a greater link between humans and nature. There is always a reaction to certain raadical behaviors.
It will help us, generally, to develop a better equilibrium.Yes. Unfortunately, I think it is. But there's still time to change it. I was thinking more along the lines of the movie "Idiocracy", starring Luke Wilson, Maya Rudolph and Terry Crews.

I think that's a given. Your internet and home deliveries aren't helping you know. Just let me work from home and I'll never have to leave my chair.
Yes, I agree that we're getting worse a little at a time.
