Why is my nose bleeding so often?

What are the possibly reasons my nose has been bleeding so much? I have one right now and i had one a few days ago and a week before i had 3 nose bleeds in one weekend! And i even had one or two before THAT! Why could my nose be bleeding so much? What does it mean? I'm on my period, is it too much blood being lost?

I wouldn't worry about it too much, unless you're having headaches or other troublesome symptoms. Your nosebleeds could be due to the lack of moisture in the air; I know my nose bleeds frequently in the winter because the air is so dry. You can remedy this by buying one of those nasal sprays or keeping a humidifier in your room when you sleep.

I'll try a steamer thing since we have one, but the nosebleeds happened in the summer as well... Curiously

Oh... then I'm not really sure. I guess some people are just more prone to getting nosebleeds than others. Regardless, I wouldn't worry about your iron levels just yet, until you start developing symptoms of anemia, but you should see your doctor just to be sure.

you could have low iron levels, i have heard that can be a result of your period, actually. eat foods rich in iron like black olives and corn flakes. i believe oatmeal is rich in iron too. see if that helps after a few days

Dry air, most likely... Try using a Otc spray or rinse to rehydrate. Or breathing through your nose while in the shower the steam will help.
