I recently got a lip piercing and it's very swollen. Should I be worried?

I recently got my lip pierced and it really swollen and my piercer didn't put in a circular ring like I wanted and now the flat back of the ring is digging into my lip
Should I be worried?
If you know any why to help with the swelling I would love to know

It's supposed to be swollen if you just got it pierced.
Just keep cleaning it correctly and apply ice.

If in a couple of weeks the looks of it doesn't improve, go back to the person who pierced your lip.

When I had problems with my piercing (tongue ring), I made sure I kept the ladies cell phone number who did it.
It saved me a lot of time (instead of having to run back)
She reassured me all of the changes i saw was normal, (which it was).

How recent? If it's painful, red or warm to the touch and if fluid is oozing from it, it's inflected. If it's itchy then you mught be allergic to the stud. A bit of swelling after piercing is normal but not a lot.
