I so I'm 17 5'4" and three years ago I went from 150lbs to 122. I've managed to maintain that 122lbs for over a year and half by eating around 1700-1800 calories and exercising. All of a sudden last week I started rapidly gaining weight (like 1-2 pounds a day) and I'm now 128lbs. I even look bigger in my stomach area! I haven't changed my eating or exercise, and I'm definitely not pregnant (just sayin). So, my question is, is it even possible to gain fat at 1800 calories day? Am I eating too much? Just wondering if any other girls have had unexplained gains like this?
I'm not an expert on this subject at all, but you might want to look into water retention. Apparently this affects women far more than men, and it can be timed to their menstrual cycle.
This kind of wild and rapid gaining of weight seems like likely to be that. I don't think you can be gaining weight like this so rapidly if it wasn't merely water retention.

I think it's more likely that you're bloated than you gained a pound per day.
