Both pretty equally as both must be sharpened and honed and they are interconnected your physical health actually has a pretty decent impact on your mental health and vice versa. So for either one to be at it's peak they both need to be strong and healthy.
I believe that you can't feel good about only one of them so I prioritize both equally. Eat healthy, don't stress too much, don't take anything too seriously, train, ride my bike, walk (both for cardio and to clear my head) and stuff like that.
Definitely my mind. I know I complain a lot about my looks, but I don't put much effort into them tbh. I try to learn new languages, I read, etc. I work on my mind but I need to work on my personality and body or stfu about it lol
Thanks for MH
My body because there are things that I want to work on about my body. But its only for myself not for attention or anything.
Would it be bad if it was for attention?
Its something I want to do for myself, I have always been thin and putting on weight is like a hit or miss for me. And I am sure it has something to do with how I was born because I was a premature baby. It just gets annoying sometimes. I've always been insecure about my butt, some people tell me I'm lucky to be this size. I'm like you have no idea its a love/hate relationship of being skinny for me. I'd like to get thicker but I'm doing for myself.
If I'm going to do it, I'm gonna do it for me, no one else just myself
It's probably just your body type. I'm skinny, too. I can put lean mass on pretty well, but bulk is difficult to add. People with higher metabolisms have a harder time building muscle, I think. If you can eat whatever you want and never gain any/much fat, that's probably it. I worked in pizza for two years, ate pretty much nothing but pizza and wings and other crap food, and I had only put on 10 pounds at the 2 year limit, which I lost in a couple months of not eating nothing but fast food. To build mass, you have to eat *a lot* if you have a high metabolism. Like 1 gram of protein per body weight per day. Some suggest 1.5x. It's hard, but possible.
And I get it. I don't think there's anything wrong with changing a bit for admiration or so others will view you as more attractive, though. Adds more motivation. Only when it becomes *only* about fitting others ideals is it a problem in my opinion. Cause you can never please everyone, so it's impossible to fulfill everyone's preferences.
Its because I have such a fast metabolism so gaining for me is like a hit or miss, its really hard and frustrating. I'm trying to gain weight I try to do everything to gain weight but still nothing. I'm hoping as I get older it slows down.
If you can put on weight like that, good for you because I don't have that kind of power I wish I did but I don't. I want to take weight gainer pills but I've read the side effects and how dangerous it is.
Oh, you're female. I was on my phone last comment and couldn't tell the difference between the pink and blue. -.-;;; What kind of weight are you wanting to put on? Fat or muscle?
Yes I'm a female that was a prank the other week. I've struggled with gaining weight my entire life, and I have a very fast metabolism, sometimes its good other times its annoying. I've eaten everything in the house and still nothing. I'm trying to work on my butt it isn't where I want it to be. And I am thinking maybe if I add weight it will get rounder and fuller. I've tried ankle weights but those have done nothing for me, I'm trying to put on muscle weight.
Ah. If you're trying to build mass, then you have to lift heavy weight. Doing small weight and high repetition leads to defining muscles, not building them. That will *sculpt* your muscles, but it won't add weight. I'm not sure exactly how muscular you would want your ass to turn out, as a female. Lifting fairly heavy weight would probably be the only way you could build some mass back there. Along with lots and lots of eating. But again, it would be muscular.
You might just be stuck with what your mama gave you if you want it round and supple instead of muscular. You can't really change the shape. Only thing you can really do is firm it and tone it. Doing leg lifts, lunges, mountain climbers, especially squats. Carrying some dumbells while squatting would add to a tighter, rounder look. Shouldn't be a problem if you have a high metabolism, 'cause you're not really trying to gain that much mass. Hitting the sides might help it round out a bit, though. But I'm no expert.
Just remember you should feel the burn in the muscles you're trying to work. If you're trying to work your butt, but your legs are burning more than your butt muscles are, then you're not doing the exercise right. Lots of guys get that wrong trying to build biceps, along with not focusing on their triceps which add to the overall look of the arms. So you gotta know the muscles you wanna work and how to work them. You might not be able to build a non-muscular bulky female booty, but you can still improve the firmness and some of the shape. Form in your lifting or resistance exercise is the most important thing.

definitely my mind, which is why I'm working more on my body. i never want the time dedicated to my body to catch up with how i nourish my mind though.
Definitely my body because I work out a lot. I don't read as much as I used to since I entered the work force. I've been working out for over 14 years and I will continue to do so.
I've put more work into developing my mind, but it's not by a massive margin.
Make time for both. its easy to workout and call it good -just work hard. Mind too, but its trickier.
Mind and body equally, now I'm working on my financial situation lol
Everything breh
need to get going faster on my reading list tho
Definitely my mind! Now I am working on my body!
I would say my mind.
Have you neglected your body, because of it?
That's good. I had been thinking. When I was a teen, I completely neglected my mind for my body. Then, when I became an adult, I switched to completely neglecting my body for my mind. Thus the question. So I wondered if that was common.
Everything but especially my mind
My mind more than body.
Both are just as important.
My body is already complete to me 😌
mind.
I'd say my body.
My wallet, now to improve my mind and body.
MY MIND!
Both in Tandem.
