What does a fit person look like to you or what does it mean to be fit to you?
Xleah17xXper 7
I work out all the time and eat healthy and people in real life think so too but whenever I post a pic on here people think I don't look fit and they think I look fat or something just because I have a big chest (genetics) and hips (genetics) and thick thighs, but I do have a flat stomach and toned legs and arms. So anyways what's your definition of "fit"? by the way yes I know I'm not the fitest person ever and I'm still working on it and no rude answers please. If you don't think I'm fit how can I be? I don't know what else to do I literally go to the gym 4-5 Days a week do cardio (treadmill) for an hour or 45 minutes and I also lift weights and I do try to eat healthy and drink water

Often being 'fit' is perceived as a person who appears athletic and toned, and perhaps either slender and small framed, or muscular. However, people with naturally bigger frames can be deceptively fit too. I think you may come in this bracket. Just because you have naturally bigger boobs, hips and thighs, doesn't mean that you're not fit and healthy, but only that you may not appear so on first viewing. What's more important here is how you feel about yourself... You know that you eat healthy and work out regularly. Try to be the healthiest and fittest person that you can be, regardless of the natural frame you have. Make sure to push and challenge yourself during your workouts, and continue to eat healthy. You know how fit and healthy you are, but always make sure that you enjoy your eating and training! Be happy within yourself without needing validation from others... You'll be much happier that way! :)

I'd say you're fit! I'm on the road that way, just need to tone up some more. But to me, "fit" = mile time under about 10 minutes give or take and 25 or more sit-ups/push-ups in a minute. Alongside that, a basically flat stomach (not inwards, but not bulging outwards like a beer gut or anything. Though I do know someone who can reach all of these requirements and he's a pretty wide fella, so yeah. But from what you say, you're really fit!

You don't look fit at all and it has nothing to do with your boobs. The fist picture isn't a good one to judge from but the second side view tells a lot. You look bloated and out of shape. Being small doesn't mean being fit. You don't have to have a bunch of muscles or anything, but I'm willing to bet you diet isn't nearly as healthy as you think it is. But you aren't fat at all so whoever said that is a complete idiot.

Someone who can run 5 miles without stppping and someone who can go hiking and rock climbing without bitching and passing out! Now, "FIt" isn't a body size or even a look. a lot of athletes come in differnt sizes and shapes. It this ridiculous notion that if you have noticeable muscle definition you are "fit" or being thin is fit. Which medically speaking isn't true at all.

Ok look you young whippersnapper. Let's get scientific. Get a body fat caliber (the accu-measure) and measure your body fat. If your body fat is under 24% you are in the fit range according to experts. Then whoever is call you fat --you can tell them to go bite a carrot, or suck an orange or something.
you look awsome! what is your nationality? Fit is you are firm, cut and shapely. you may be thinking... I don't look like a tall skinny model... no you dont and you don't need to be.
There are different types of "fit"... like for a long run, mountain climbing, etc.. you may do the gym like that but be unprepared for a major event. So, its all relative to what you want.

Dont sweat it... you'll be told about expectations that most can't even get consistently. Its all just unrealistic expectations for the most part
You look great and in normal everday life, you are fit just not athletic obsessed fit

You look plenty fit to me. Some guys like a girl who is Curvy. As long as you are healthy that is all that matters.

A "fit" body to me would denote a clear, noticeable composition that favors more muscle (or as girls prefer to call it "toned") rather than body fat.
So to me, you have to have some clear musculature to be fit, not chubby, not skinny either.

This is pretty fit to me and how I like her to be if she works hard in the gym
that's the most important part of losing weight. you can lose weight by eating healthy alone, provided you have discipline to not give in to temptation.

cardio. sign up for a cycling class.. and do that. it's easy, and it's difficult to screw it up. the other option is HIIT (high impact interval training). more effective, but more effective, harder on your body... sore most of the day.. and requires more dedication and knowledge. be honest w/ yourself and your habits. after reading the opinions here.. wander over to wikipedia and read about energy, fat, cardio, aerobic, etc. familiarize yourself w/ how you get fat, where comes from, what causes it, and it's relation to food + physical activity.. knowing the fundamentals will greatly help you make better decisions on the fly in terms of wat's ok to eat, and what kind of activity u should be doing at the gym.

It's different than athletic but fit would mean that your healthy and able to play sports with out losing your breath if your in good shape which may not always look visible if you have a certain body shape but since you don't look skinny people just assume your not fit but you look in good shape to me so don't worry so much about what others think, just keep doing what you do

People are superficial that's why. I would think someone is fit if they looked tone and had noticeable muscle definition. I feel like you can look curvy and fit or you can look petite and fit. People nowadays are always on some type of fucked up diet or it's the opposite and they eat too much so kudos to you for taking care of yourself. Keep up the good work ignore the haters and focus on your goals
