Yeah, that's true. Most of my friends happen to be really tall though, so I always just feel really short :'D

Right? And some of my guy friends can be jackasses (I say that endearingly) about it, because I'll subconsciously lift myself onto my tiptoes to put myself on their level lol, and since they've noticed, they'll get on their tiptoes too /eyeroll/

Ah well. At least two of my friends are shorter than me! Less than an inch maybe, but...

Ugh, that's the worst. I'm so over giants that think it's cute to pick smaller people up. It's worse for guys though, I have a few friends that are really short (maybe like 4"11, they haven't hit their growth spurts yet) and they get called 'cute' and 'adorable' by literally everyone taller than them, which they find super offensive.

Yeah it is. My sister is 5'2 and she never had this problem. No one called her cute or adorable. People always take her seriously. So even if you were a dude, there would be some tall assholes who would try to man handle you. I have some friends that are shorter than me. For every short person out there, there is always going to be someone that's shorter than you. You're fifteen, you might grow and inch or two.

why 5 inches?

Because the average height difference between males and females is five inches. If you calculate, for example, a future son's expected height, it would be five inches plus the mother's height plus the dad's height. Divide that by two and the expected height will show up. For a daughter's height you would just take away five inches from the dad's height and add the mom's height. But that's not always guranteed. But it happens to most people. Usually opposite sex siblings are five inches apart. On the normal height distribution range, the man who is 6'2 is your equivalent.
