1. Go to sleep around 10 and get out around 7.
2. Make sure you put on your clothes as soon as possible, because otherwise you don't get anything done.
3. Make yourself a healthy breakfast.
4. Take a walk every morning (about 30 minutes). The fresh air on your skin will make you feel alive, you will feel the warmth of the sun, moving will get your blood flowing, etc.
5. Give yourself a treat, like a cup of hot chocolate or tea and a muffin (bonus if it's home made.
6. Make tiramisu, because it's super easy and ridiculously good. www.epicurious.com/.../tiramisu-351138 This one is almost perfect, just make half the amount of everything and leave out the whipped cream for 2 egg whites.
7. Do the stuff you need to do: Like cleaning your room, homework, practicing your instrument... (the tiramisu has to be in the fridge for 6 hours after you made it, so in the meantime you could just as well do something productive to kill the time - and yes, you want those 6 hours to go by FAST).

If your doctor suggested excercise, he has probably not taken you seriously. Therapists help with depression.
I know because I've just come out of one. A depression that is, not a therapist. Six long unmotivated years. Don't do that to yourself. Get help sooner rather than later.
As for coping.. I don't know. I just did whatever came on my path. Mostly computer games. Looking back now, it feels as though I have thrown away 6 years of my life. Don't be like me.
What do you enjoy doing? Keep your mind occupied and do you eat right? that will get you energy. You have to have the will to try to get out of this state of mind. Get yourself out there and do or find something you like to do

Think back to when you've been really happy before. Think of nothing but good things. It's a decision you can make. It's not easy and may take some time but keep focusing on good things. You can get yourself out of this rut you're in. But you've gotta want to as well.
Have it, same boat as you. Even anti depressants don't help in the slightest.
I think some people are just fucked.get some sun light, it will give you vitamin D. this will basically make you more happy. thats why a lot of relationships tend to end in the winter, because of lack of happiness because of lack of sunlight.
You need to find a focal point that helps you perk up! Find something that when you go back to it, it lifts your view of things.
