Course you can. Eating all those veggies are going to cleanse your body of all the crap, which will be the majority of the weightloss in the beginning. The n you'll lose weight over time due to lower calories because it's hard to eat a lot of calories on just vegetables. Just avoid binging on grains and heavy fats like oils and avocados. Eat a lot of pasta and you'll put on weight, vegan or not. At the end of the day fat loss comes down to calories in Vs calories out. Weightloss is fluctuation of water, carbs, crap and calories. That's why focusing on fat loss is more important, because you can weigh more and have less fat.

Nope. I have a vegetarian friend who said people actually gain weight cuz they think oh I'm not eating meat anymore. Let me get some skittles instead as a reward. Still have to watch what you eat and eat healthy.
Nope, my ex-roomate became vegan and she is still fat.
Also from a nutritional stand point you can eat meat and lose weight. If a person has a diet which does not include processed, high-energy density and high-glycemic-index foods, is balanced and are comsuming the right amount of calories, then they have a healthy diet.

Veganism should not be treated as a fad diet, it is a lifestyle choice for people with a certain moral compass.
You could but it depends on what you eat. The problem I have is that I was quite thin already and now I'm underweight. Beware of vegan junk food as well lol.
Oh, and going vegan to lose weight is good and all but there are plenty of other reasons to go vegan too.
I recommend the speech "101 reasons to go vegan" and educate yourself with a few documentaries. :p

It has nothing to do with vegan, vegetarian or regular, but with the overall composition of your nutrition, meaning the correct balance between all components. Loosing weight is making a good balance between carbs and daily needs. And seeing you get enough of the other parts (proteins, vitamins, fluid, fibers, ...)
Not at all, meats like chicken breast, fish, pork, turkey are very low in calories and fat. Its only like bacon, ham, hamburger, marbled steak that are high in fat and calories. But things like almonds, well any nuts, avacado etc etc have even more. If weight loss is your goal learn what foods are good and not, vegan or not vegan isn't a weight loss program. Portion control, good foods, balanced diet. That is what you want
You can lose your weight either way with a healthy balanced diet and exercise. Just because vegan option has no animal products doesn't mean the alternatives you choose would be the healthiest.
People can't lose weight on diet alone. They need enough burn throughout the day as well.
You can, but vegan or not just eat healthy, don't eat too much, be active, and you'll lose weiggt
there's plenty of unhealthy vegan food now days. Just workout and eat properly and stick to that.
No. You don't need to change what you eat, but how much you eat.
You will most likely lose weight. Vegan diets have inherently a much lower calorie density.
im not a vegan but vegetables are much more healthier so i think yeah you will lose more weight
no, you can only lose respect from people around you. being a vegan is bullshit
Of course you will lose weight if you stop eating properly. Derp.
Probably. It's more about eliminating fat and getting exercise.
I hope you like brain damage.
