I want to run 2k without stopping! I did 2k today, but I had to take one water break and two brief walking breaks.
I've been on a health kick for about a month and a half now. Running, some weight training, and calorie watching. Before, I could run maybe 30 seconds without stopping and now I can run 8 minutes (still isn't much, but hey it's an improvement lol). I've lost 5 pounds total, but I'm convinced I gained a bit in muscle since I'm noticeably thinner. And I use My Fitness Pal to log my calories - it allows me about 1300/day (more if I exercise). And I don't feel deprived because I allow myself something sweet almost every day -ice cream usually. I won't stick with it otherwise lol!

OP, I totally agree with you but the problem is, we are headed into the last quarter of the year which traditionally in the USA is loaded with banquets, candies, and all sorts of junk food we do not normally partake upon the remainder of the year.
Keeping fit is the ideal solution rather than crash diets. How do we prepare to educate people? LOL

i just had my cheat meal today, i ate 1 fried chicken breast and 1 chicken zinger burger with cheese and fries and 1 chicken steak with fries.

I've been fit since I started working out hardcore in 2002. I plan on continuing that trend in September, 2016 and beyond :)

wish me luckI'm someone who is trying to gain weight. I workout anyways so it's not like I'll make huge improvements in just one month.
I want to get healthy AF! I've been working out every other morning at 5:30am going for runs or doing HIIT or taking dance classes. Started in earnest Jan 1 with the goal to get as fit as I can by Dec 31.
Still in summer cardio mode, lots of outdoor walking and cycling and swimming. Next month will start going to the gym more often for weights again.
I'm fine with how I look and how I eat even if it's described as healthy or not.
I don't exercise other than just taking walks and going to actual doc prescribed physical therapy. I'm skinny but am not tone at all. I should try to tone up, I'm skinny-fat

Typically people in high school have one hour of gym each day. I'm gonna try and lose 30 pounds myself but asthma doesn't help :(
