What makes you feel better when you are depressed?

Yeah, I listen to music, watch a movie, exercise, go for a walk etc. The thing is I never have the chance to be depressed for an extended amount of time because I've got a lot going on and I'm happy with what I'm doing so that kind of takes away from any of the things that made me feel depressed in the first place. Follow your passion, everyone has to have one, if you can do that and keep a positive mindset I can guarantee depression won't get to you so much.
Are you just talking about random down days every once in a while or are you constantly feeling bad? If the latter, you really ought to see a psychiatrist to get checked out.
Personally, I'm bipolar and hence on meds, but even so I'll have bad days. If I have the energy to do it, I've found that exercise works best.
Listen to music, drive, fly or a bit of retail therapy.
