I had sore throat problems in the past and I can say there is a solution.
Hextril was the thing that helped me. It's not like a ordinary cough sirup or anything. You have to gargle it and spit it back out and it actually kills of the bakteria that are causing your trouble. Ordinary caugh sirups numb the area but don't actually help. It's just basically pain medication plus it's dangerous because it's often made with opioids. I was basicaly never sick my whole life but this problem plagued me from time to time and Hextril helped me everytime. It went away pretty quickly. I don't know if you can get it where you are but I hope so. It's pretty expensive I think but you can keep the bottle you only need 1 cup the size of a shot glass. You do it once in the morning once in the evening and usually it goes away, sometimes you might have to do it for 2 days but 1 bottle will last you a long time.

If someone says "muh dick", I swear!
Anyway, you need to go to the doctor if it's that bad. For minor stuff, I found that peppermints helped me.
@apple24, You Need to Get yourself to a Doctor if this Persists. This is a Sign that an Infection or Something that May or May not be "Common," Could Be Beginning Here, dear.
Don't mess around by Masking this Issue, with Hot Tea and a Tissue. If it Persists by tomorrow, Make an Arrangement to go See Someone, hun, who Can best Assist you, so it Doesn't.. Persist and you end up More Sick.
Good luck and Hope you Feel better soon. xx
Green tea with lemon and honey helps fight bacteria, I would have a look at your throat by using the torch and camera on your phone and looking in the mirror, or get someone else to do it. Look out for any white pussy spots and any red inflamed spots if you have those either or both go to the doctor chances are you either have tonsillitis or strep throat

Boil water, throw in some thinly sliced lemon, let it boil another 2-3 minutes, add a little honey, stir well, poor into a cup and sip when it's cool enough to do so. That'll help.
That aside, use a chloraseptic spray to reduce the irritation, which will help reduce the coughing, which will help reduce exacerbating the issue. If the sore throat is being caused by post nasal dripping treat that as well.Gargle warm salt water, gargle Hydrogen-peroxide, drink tea and honey, suck on cough drops, sore throat spray, cold medicine for sore throat and drink plenty of ice cold water. Also try chewing/sucking on raw garlic, it won't help with the sore throat directly but it will help get rid of the infection that's causing the sore throat.
Antibiotics usually, try gargling warm salt water for now
30'000 mgs of vitamin C, but beware that this will have a laxative effect for some depending on tolerance.
maybe try to go to like krogers clinic, it could be strep, its going around. they can proscribe you antibiotics
Lots of warm honey and numbe products like those special cough drops
A tablespoon of honey usually does the trick for me. Don't just eat the whole thing in one big gulp but let it slowly run down your throat as you swallow it. Get like 4-5 "swallows" I guess you can call it
How long has the sore throat been going on?
Semen has been known to cure swore throats so if you have a boyfriend swallow.
Strepsils and gargling with very warm water and salt.
Yes, you need a medical sirup that cuts down your cough. And drink a lot of hot beverages
I'm glad to see this is getting a lot of comments. I can't think of a tip that hasn't been given already, but I want you to know I'm praying you get better real soon. 🙂
I like mixing honey with fresh lime juice and taking a few spoons of that
Sometimes gargling salt water takes some of the sting out of it. Ludens help or eat popsicles too, soothes the throat
