visit the gym a LOT. seriously ,., go on the running machines etc do the weights and eat a healthy balanced diet. I wouldn't focus too much on weight though . I have a waist size of 33 inches right but according to my weight I need to loose around 5 stone, I would focus more on the inches you want to loose because that's more relative to looking thinner and having better fitting clothes eat a daily diet with a lot of protein but little fat.
restrict your calorie intke. go for a run before you eat first thing in the morning, drink green tea hot water and lemon to reduce toxins and water retention which can put on nearly half a stone! but more importantly eat 6 small snacks a day adding up to 1600 cals instead of 3 big meals. try not to drink beer and cider etc because it gives you a pot belly and half your wheat intake . only eat wholemean wheat products and no more than 1 or 2 portions a day eg. 1 sandwich and a small bowl of rice, peas and pepper etc. make sure you drink plenty of water and no drinks high in calories and fat eg doctor pepper original coke sprite etc. healthily you should be loosing 2 lbs a week. another tip I have is to not eat after 7 pm in the evening. try walking everywhere you can too. walk to the groceries store or the town centre etc. it wil save you money on petrol or travel fare which you could spend on a new dance class or aerobics class for a bit of a twist to your exercise regime. and did you know that 5 hours of fast walking (how much I do a day) can burn around 2000 calories. another thing I do is put fibresure in my water because it feels you up between the 6 snacks and make sure your digestive system is getting enough roughage. please remember that it should take you around 4 or 5 months to loose the weight healthily. Try to walk for 2 hours everyday get 3 sessions of free weights in a day, 100 sit ups day etc and around 5 sessions of cardio of around 45 mins to 1 hr each. always have a rest day at the end of each week to avoid muscle strain and make sure you get regular spot massages and check ups to make sure your healthy

You can't lose weight fast -- it happens as you go along with good diet and regular exercise. Don't skip meals, work-out, and stay away from "fatty" foods. No mcdonalds or KFC -- simply fruits and veges. Experiment with healthy cooking (boiled chicken, fish, green sandwiches etc.)
Don't starve yourself because that'll cost you in the latter. You'll eventually gain all that weight back in less than 2 moths. Another tip: before any meal -- drink at least 3 glasses of water. It'll keep you full and you'd end up eating less. Don't eat between 6pm - 9pm. That's the red zone. Stretch as much as possible. That will increase your metabolism and you'll be able to lose more calories. Make sure you keep a water bottle with you as well as almonds or mini garnola bars, an apple or some type of snack to keep your stomach full. Skipping any type of food process will cause you to eat during the night and you'll just gain more weight. Drink as much water as you can!
Other than that -- just work-out, make yourself a plan, eat healthy, and keep patience.
Sometimes people just give-up because they don't notice any difference in check for 3 days. That's not possible -- you'll eventually see the difference in the range of 1-2 weeks. It takes time. I hope you reach your goal.
Goodluck.
The easiest and most effective and important part is to stop drinking sugary drinks!
STOP drinking soda and juice (even diet soda is unacceptable)--instead, drink WATER!
You do NOT even have to buy bottled water, either--tap water is OK as long as you buy a filter, like BRITA or PUR. Put it in the fridge--yeah, cold water tastes SO GOOD!
Your skin will probably not sag too much losing 35 lbs, unless you lose it in a couple weeks, which is unhealthy.
There IS a such thing as losing too much weight too quickly--and that is really dangerous and unhealthy
But seriously, just substituting soda and juice with water is already 80% there! You'd be surprised how much of this stuff you drink, and how many calories and sugar they have. For example, a can of Coke (12 oz/355mL) has 140 calories and 39g of sugar! Many juices aren't that much better. Diet soda and artificial sweeteners are also pretty bad for you and just taste nasty. Stick to water as much as possible. If you go to Starbucks for coffee, just get plain black coffee (can be regular or decaf) or tea (can also be regular or decaf). Just get it plain black with NOTHING ELSE added to it!
Switch from whole milk to skim milk (an 8-oz glass of whole milk has 8g of fat)
Buy lean meat, the highest % lean you can buy
Beans are very good for you; they are very high in fiber and protein and low calories!
Walk more, drive less (whenever possible)
Anytime you go out somewhere, and it's less than about 2 miles from you, DON'T DRIVE THERE! Just walk, or perhaps ride your bike if you have one)

I started eating low carb a year ago and I exercise 5-6 days a week for 30-45 minutes a day. I've since lost almost 60 pounds. I've gone from a size 18 to my current 10. I keep my carbs under 20g a day and I eat mostly meat, veggies, salads, yogurts and basically any carbs that are good for me. I occasionally eat grains, but not very often. I also limit my sugar intake and I don't eat any starchy foods. I also upped my fat intake and believe it or not, that has really helped me lose weight cause it keeps me satisfied for longer. Don't be afraid of eating fats. I also gave up pop, and mostly drink diet pop and Crystal Light. That's what I did to lose weight. Take what you will from it.
I have a one year old little girl so I know about weight loss! I counted calories and made small changes to my diet and within the first 6 months of having her I was ten pounds lighter than before I was pregnant. First , cut out empty calories like soda and candy. Secondly just make healthier choices, eat eggbeaters instead of regular eggs, wheat bread instead of white and fat free milk instead of whole. Also exercise is important to tone muscle which helps you burn fat more effecently. Small changes make a big difference.
Stop eating sugar, including fruits - only eat healthy carbs like full grain rice and potatoes, eat vegetables and enough protein.
And work out as much as you can, don't worry, you'll get better at it anyway. I recommend to go to a gym and get some professional help, otherwise get a book on pilates and work out at home and long walks also help (also at a shopping mall) Good luck!this happened me I let myself go.just eat your breakfast, your lunch and your dinner and an hours exercise and you will lose weight.also don't eat late at night piles on pounds! don't crash diet as when I did I just ended up bigger
