When I first started working out, I would go with a friend on a regular basis so it turned into more of a social activity versus the dreaded workout. I actually started to enjoy and look forward to gym visits and at that point, I began buying month-passes as opposed to drop-ins. By that time, the fact that, if I didn't go, I would actually be losing money (after calculating that, in order to break even with how much I would pay if I continued to do drop-in fares in comparison to how much I paid for month passes) if I didn't go that particular day.

I prefer working out in the morning so that's what I'd suggest
Go straight from work, that's what works for me. If I go home first I struggle to motivate myself to get out again to the gym. Eventually it becomes routine and you just do it with no second thought.
Is it possible to do it in the morning? I can't ever make myself work out at night, but I have a good routine of going to the gym right after breakfast

I stick to a strict eating plan all week, and prepare as much as I can on the weekend. I go to the gym either before work or during my lunch break, as once I get home I get distracted with everything else and don't want to go then. I go with a few friends and colleagues and we're a bit competitive so it keeps us on track.
Weekends are for fun 😊We do this

I'll join the crowd by also saying work out in the morning.
Make an aim for how many calories you have to burn on the treadmill everyday. Thats how i keep motivated personally.
