Being humorous about it helps. The more people see it really bothers you or hurts you, the more they will pick on it and target it. If you give the impression you aren't vulnerable to your imperfections, even though you are, no one will mess with it.
In the mean time, work on it as hard as you can and overcome it.
I don't have anything serious but I had speech problems as a child. Supposedly, I had a hard time pronounciating words and emulating sounds. Later on, when I was in school I was diagnosed with ADD. Math gave me a lot of problems in school and most of high school.
It was very tough for me to stay focused on things and literally took me years to overcome it (I'm 28 now).
Now I am trilingual, second time in university while working (was previously in that situation before). Have had numerous jobs, and was recognized for my efficiency in several of those, and currently I am studying a science career. All the insecurities I had growing up because of those shortcomings are vanished at this point. Taking a proper IQ test helped because I score average, I think slightly higher even.
I hope you get treatment/therapy, introspect and work it out on a personal level to move on from that and become a confident individual. Good luck

those who judge others like that are the stupid ones, no one is perfect. schools do this bullshit and they seriously need to stop. they make things more difficult on everyone anyways. school is also bad for a persons health. because of all the stress it causes and loss of sleep. which actually causes learning issues. so, in my opinion if school never existed we would have a lot more healthy and smart individuals in the world. and I'm glad I dropped out of school when I did. I just couldn't take that bullshit anymore.
Eh just some good old fashion PTSD
