What are some tips on body fat loss?

My long term goal is definitely to get healthier and lose body fat. According to the body mass index, I'm "Obese". I'm about 60 lbs overweight. The things I want know are some more simple easy weight loss tips. Here is a list of things I already know: 1. Try to eat veggies with every meal. 2. Drink lots of water

3. Eat slowly ( it should take about 20-30 min to eat). 3. Watch Portion size. 4. Weight lift. I heard that weight lifting with aerobic exercise can really help with boosting your metabolism. Any other things that could help with changing my lifestyle to lose weight and be more healthier in general. Thanks
