What do Americans think of us Brits?

I've never been there but a few of my friends went there last winter and said that many of the people were stuckup like they thought they were better than americans. My friends also said that the majority of the people were rude to them and pretty much ignored them when they tried asking some people on the street directions to their hotel because they got lost. Lol I'm not saying I think all british people are like that but the people my friends met were.
I'm not American but I live in the states.
First of all, I think you guys have great accents, one of my favorites ^^
I don't really pay attention to the stereotypes, so I can't say much. Crooked teeth maybe? I don't think it's true though lol
I only know Britain through some of the entertainment that was born there.
28 Days Later movie, The Who band, Doctor Who show, etc.
I would love to visit the country in the future =)
I like British people. Or the idea of them at least, haha. I've noticed they tend to dress better and listen to better music (not all of them, of course, but a lot of them, it seems). Also, I love the accents. :D
I usually have a preconceived idea of British people as well-mannered, and like drinking tea. Haha I don't know.
Naw, we think of you as a bunch of socialist tea suckers with bad teeth who live on top of a bankrupt rock bordered by drunks and French people.
And yes I've been to Britain, it wasn't bad but it made me proud to be an American. The things I enjoyed most were the museums - England has a lot of history, too bad it's in such poor shape now.
Rofl have a sense of humor for God's sake.
Depends on which Brit and which Ami.

My best guy friend went to Great Britain earlier this summer on an student ambassador thingy and he said the British are rude and mean.He said he wouldn't go there again
I have a somewhat biased opinion on that seeing as how my grandparents and quite a few aunt and uncles are from England. I just see them as "normal" folk with a little drier and maybe darker sense of humour overall.
Americans don't hate red coats anymore; that's for sure. When I think of British people, I think of James Bond. They're charming and dashing and proper, but they can be bad when they need to be.
When I think of you Brits I just see normal people, just like in America. but also I think about mock the week, love that show but a little down since Frankie Boyle left but still good
Inventors of traditional and extreme metal (Black Sabbath & Venom). Thank you. I just don't like it when you misspell words like colour, shoppe, favorite or arse.
Yeah I also think of tea, crumpets, and a need for dental insurance
I think they're cool.
We had a foreign exchange student come to my high school a couple years ago and he was a really awesome guy.
