Does anyone have any tips/cures for sleeping disorders (no meds)?

Sometimes it's related to stress. What do you think about before you go to bed? I know you said that you have no energy but try doing something that is more physically active. Gym, sports, sex, etc. Anything that will physically exhaust you to help your body feel tried. When we have something on our minds (even if we think we don't) it could really mess up our sleep.
You might also want to go see a doctor. Sometimes, low energy could be your body telling you something. Low iron level, an hypo or hyper active thyroid can be to blame also. Until you get yourself checked out there is really no way of knowing what is what.
You said no meds, but I will suggest one.
Melatonin is a completely natural chemical found in the body that regulates the sleep schedule. It essentially tells our brain when to go to sleep. You can find it at any CVS for a cheap price. It's non addictive and has no known side effects. I've used it for several years, and can't say I've ever had any problems with it.j
I have sleeping disorders, which at my age I shouldn't have. I have extrememly bad night terrors. and Anxiety attacks when I wake up.
I found that reading before bed helps also take a nice hot bath every night before bed with some Lavender and camolie bath stuff.
