Any ideas on how to lose weight?

Well I joined cross country this year and went from not exercising to running 6-8 km 5 days a week and lost no weight probably due to the fact that I used to do a lot of weight training so if I exercise at all my muscles will re-inflate them selves ( used to weigh 120 with 3h of exercise 5 days a week ) so how do I exercise and lose weight... I am 109 and want to be 103 Running isn't doing anything! I don't know what else to do it is supposed to be the ultimate way of losing weight >.< I've already tried changing up the speed varying from 30min to 60 min at different speeds but it isn't doing anything. Any ideas on losing weight would be much appreciated.
