Do you judge people at their best, worst, or average?

We shouldn't judge, but at some level we all do it. Does it attract to someone if at their worst, you are still attracted to them? Do you judge them on their average - every day qualities. Or do you judge them by those few acts that manage to stand out above their normal personality?

We all do it, but we tell others that we don't, only so we can say that we're accepting of everyone, by taking the moral high ground. Even though we're lying through my teeth. Having said that though, if I were to judge, I wouldn't voice it; I'd probably think it, but that's about it. I try to not let that sway how I behave towards someone.

I generally judge people when they're at their worst, in a sense that they're under pressure etc. Generally because you can't really judge someone in a call situation, because for all you know, it's probably an act. But when under stress etc, the person is too preoccupied with something else, so they can't keep up the "act".

the true judge of one's character is who they are at the worst times, anybody can be a good person when things are great.

Most definitely, but what about not the situation... just whether their acting their best or not personally.

that's a toughie... I really think that situations do need to be taken into account though. people's reactions and the way they act change within different situations, that's the nature of what personality is. does that make sense?

The situation definitely needs to be taken into account, but sometimes I like to ask unfair questions :)

I judge people at their worst so I can tell if they can redeem themselves or not.
