Do guys not realize when they make a bad comment about a girls weight?

I have a big butt/big hips and a tiny waist... this group of guys were staring at me and checking me out saying "what's your name" or "what are you doing tonight" blah blah then one says "wow I didn't know they made women like this here"... "damn"... then he said "what are they feeding you?" hahaha what the heck is that supposed to mean? I feel like I get weird comments like that from guys, they are checking me out but they say things almost insinuating I am fat or something. So I guess my question is, how can comments like that actually be a good thing? Would you ever say something like this to a girl?

My understanding is that going by your description is that they are impressed/intrigued by your figure and are pointing out that is a rarity to see someone like that in this day and age; I take it though that these guys are inarticulate buffoons who can't pay a proper compliment.

Don't pay attention to the haters. People say all kinds of weird things. Just continuing doing you. Some guys are jerks and don't know how to talk to a girl. And if those were pickup lines those lines were pretty weak and they should not have been said to you.

They are not meant to be a good thing. They, the insulting remarks, are only meant to upset you. They guys who said those things to you were only being mean and did not have any good intentions towards you.

Next time a guy says something, answer: I'm not overweight, I'm undertall".
