If you want them to know just sing songs( that show you can sing) that you like to yourself while you walk down the hall. Not loud or anything but loud enough so that if your friends or a girl you like passes by can hear you. If you can play a guitar then put yourself in a place you know your friends/crush pass by often, get there before them and start playing and singing to yourself semi loud.
Singing is a great way to woo the ladies so use it to your advantage, you're only hindering yourself by hiding your talent. Being a shy guy its best to just jump into it. Its like jumping into a cold pool, at first its uncomfortable but it doesn't take very long until you get used to it.
I'm a tall skinny guy too. I was 6'4" 140 pounds in high school.
You shouldn't wear skinny jeans because they just make you look even skinnier. Buy jeans that fit you well, buy shirts that have larger horizontal stripes, they make you appear bigger.
Just carry yourself with confidence, keep good posture because when your skinny and you don't have good posture you can get disgusting red crease lines on your stomach.
If your really shy with the ladies just smile all day every day. You're 10,000 times more likely to get a girls attention if you do that. Smile, once you get used to singing in front of people start singing to girls you want, try your very best to get comfortable touching girls you like in a flirty or caring way( not sexual).
If you can sing then I'd suggest joining a band. Like a real band not the school choir. This would be the best way to show off your singing skills without it being weird. Ladies love guys in bands, so get one together and play at school battle of the bands or just around town if you can. Also it's much cooler to tell a girl you are in a band, than to just tell them you can sing.
If you can sing, great, fine. Girls will like that, but it isn't going to boost your popularity more than by like thismuch. Unless, of course, you're on Glee, or are Paul McCartney. I think skinny jeans are kinda cute on guys, it doesn't really matter to me. Just be yourself, because if your not, and a girl falls in love with the "not you," you're not going to be happy keeping up your persona. And girls like tall guys, fyi. So you already have the advantage, and are already being noticed.

Don't. Real life isn't like that stupid TV show about the HS singers. Nobody will care, and if they do care, it won't be in a good way.
