Should I try to lose weight?

Everyone always tells me I am skinny, but over the past summer I gained 20-25lbs. I'm not fat, but I am continuosly gaining weight, about a 1/2-1lb. per month. I'm an athlete, and always have a HUGE appetite, which I, admittedly, probably don't sedate with the right foods. When I look at my friends around me, they all have little butts, toned thighs, flat stomachs, and little boobs. When I look at me I see a big butt, big boobs, a little extra around the waist, and big thighs. My doctor tells me that my BMI is normal for my age (138lbs., 5'7" tall, and I'm 16) and I've been trying to eat heathier, but my family and friends aren't the healthiest eaters so it's hard. Should I try to lose weight, or tone, or should I not even be stressing over this? And any suggestions about toning or weight loss would be appreciated!
