Your diet is huge, so do some research online about your calorie intake, carbohydrate intake, and protein intake. Personally, I would recommend being concerned more about weight lifting than your cardiovascular exercises(running, etc.) Weight lifting will burn plenty of calories alone, but adding in cardio will also help with that AND also help you get more of an athletic-looking body rather than a bodybuilder body.
I want to add this... for the love of God do NOT get sucked into buying workout supplements. Protein and multivitamins are really the only supplements that are worth the cash. You should try to get as much of your protein as possible from foods though... which can be hard depending on your weight. After you've gotten past your "noob" gains and if you have the cash and want to experiment with preworkout supplements that will give you more energy/pump, go ahead and try some but don't get addicted.
Check about bodybuilding.com It's probably the most popular nutrition/workout informational site out there. It is definitely NOT just for bodybuilder, so don't be fooled by the name. If you have any more specific questions shoot me a pm and I'd be glad to help and give some more advice.
BTW, if you drink pop, energy drinks, or really any carbonated or sugary drinks... cut them out of your diet NOW and get use to drinking plenty of water. Your body will need between a half gallon and a whole gallon of water a day to operate to its fullest.

Start off burning as much fat as possible - to do that basically run. Do a mixture of long distance, continual jogs/runs (say 20 minutes non stop) and a series of sprints (run as fast as you can for 30 seconds, stop, minutes rest, repeat) do that say, 10 times.
You'll need to cut the sh*t out your diet as well as that.
As for muscle buildup, well I'd recommend joining a gym - it's MUCH more cost effective than buying your own equiptment. Chances are you'll also have access to trainers at the gym who can give you programs to achieve what you want.
Although I haven't emphasised it much, Diet will give you about 80% of the results
