Could not sleeping for two days at time help me lose weight faster?

Anonymous
I was wondering because it seems like everyone I see that doesn't sleep regular is really skinny. Plus, if you think about it, it makes sense. While you are sleeping your body fucntions slow down. I've have been trying to search the internet for articles giving me the information I want. However, they just talk about how levels of chemicals in your body make you feel hungry more often.

I already don't eat every time I am hungry, so I was thinking that if I stay up and don't stuff my face it should help me lose weight faster. Because while the time I'm normally sleeping I'm doing stuff. I mean it's not like I'm running during that time, but instead of laying still for 5-8 hours I am doing homework, or walking outside to smoke, just little stuff that I normally wouldn't do at that time.

I have always struggled with my weight, and I'm tried of it taking so long. I am 5'9 or so and in July of 2010 I weighted 310 pounds. Yea, a big boy lol. I wasn't always though, in high school I dropped about 100 LBS and was actually really skinny. Some stuff happened and I let myself go. I went from about 150LBS to 310LBS in about a year and a half. Now, like I said, in July I weighted 310 now in May of 2011 I weight 260. All that time I have only lost 50 LBS.

Partly, because I decided to go back to college in July so between college, homework, and my job I don't always feel like working out. I understand that if I was to have a actually regular work out I would have dropped the weight quicker.

About 2 months ago I finally got another girlfriend(my first one since high school) And she is so beautiful and I love her. She is just about to graduate from high school, and lately she has really been working out alot. She says she wants to get sexy and tight. She already has a flat stomach, and I don't want her to leave me when she get to whatever picture she has in her head.

So I have been trying to figure out a way to lose weight fast. I know it's not going to melt off over night. I haven't slept in 48 hours and I feel fine. I don't feel tired or anything. I woke up Wednesday morning, and it is not early Friday morning. All I have had to eat since is a few spoons of peanut butter, and 2 pizzas. I have been drinking lots of water.

I have had lots of stuff to do anyway. Like my computer programming homework and trying to find a new job, because when I went to get my check Wednesday my boss told me she was closing shop next Friday. So I have been filling out applications, as well as finishing my student loan papers for this past semester.

I'm looking for your thought on if it will work or not. I know it isn't the best thing for my health, I don't live under a rock :)
