HELP flab alert!!!

Well, I should have been asking this question a long time ago, but I didn't. Anyways, I lost weight in grade 8 which was a really long time ago. I lost 40lbs which was great right? But now I have to live with flabby skin. Looking at me you would think that I have a great body. I am tall and skinny, but if I take me shirt off and just touch my back it is like a rippling effect! I want to know what I can do to tone myself up. I shouldn't be looking like an old woman at the age of 19. People would think I am crazy because I am already skinny, but they haven't seen me naked! lol. I want to try a gym, but I am scared about going there and I don't know how to use the machines. Are there any exercises I can do at home that will tone up my stomach, back and legs? HELP!
