Cleanliness, what do girls expect in guys?

I wash about 3x a week. how does that sound? (don't worry I'll always shower before a social event, but sometimes I just can't be bothered when I'm just on the move all the time/around the house)

I just had a shower. I hope you're all happy! when I had a girlfriend I showered daily, now I'm just a chronically single and slightly lazy slob. but now I feel as fresh as a dandelion...I will try to heed your warning from now onwards.

Showering is just not making your hair wet and drying it off, I've seen this with many many many guys and they try to cover it all up with a body spray wtf. You need to use soap a small towel to lather and enough water to rinse yourself clean. Important places to wash are the arm pits, face(ears, neck and eyes), your feet and your private parts( egg roll and ass), if your uncut never forget to unroll your egg roll, wash the head thoroughly with soap and water. Also use antibacterial soap for your hands.

Most girls prefer a guy with a neat haircut and well groomed face, not to strong after shave and clean fingernails and toenails. Clean smelling clothes is a must, non of those muffy smelling clothes with a perfume on it to cover the smell, that don't work.

I live in a tropic climate and showering 3-4 times daily is the norm here, if you live in a milder climate then I guess showering 2 times a day would be enough.

haha, looks like these females told you. I shower a lot (2+ a day), but I think that Americans shower a lot more than people in other countries (even European ones).

I expect guys to not be visibly dirty, greasy, or to smell like body odor. If you can do that by showering only three times a week, then good for you! If you honestly can't, you may want to consider carving out the twenty minutes it takes to get clean.

I shower 2x a day, 3 when I workout. I am a very hygienic person, extremely picky about hygiene and would expect the same from my partner(for themselves, not for me)

Nah man, it's cool. Sometimes I can't be bothered to shower either. Just as long as you shower sometimes and smell good when you haven't.

that's not necessary for me. I don't get greasy skin or bad b.o. I would only have to wash that much if I was very active each day. I think people require different schedules...I think every other day is ideal.

I'd rather if a guy showered at least once a day, but skipping a day isn't gross. As long as you don't smell bad it's fine.

Not enough, I think you should shower everyday and wash your hair 3x a week, use a decent amount of deo and wear clean clothes.

once a day is fine with me. I only do it when I am about to go to bed and wash up all the dirty stuff of the day. When I wake up I wash my face, and deodorant is good too.
