Have you ever forgotten to eat for a long period of time?

After I had knee surgery I didn't eat for 3 days because I just wasn't hungry. I did force myself into eating a little though because I knew I did need to eat.

Once, I was at a friends house for several days, and they did not have anything that I eat. So, I did not eat. After about 1.5 days of not eating, I got a stomach ache. After another .5 days, it went away, and I was not hungry for another day. My grandfather later explained to me what was happening. When I got hungry, my brain sent me a signal that I need to eat something. I did not eat. After some time, my brain sent me another signal that I need to eat. Since sending regular signals did not work, my brain gave me a stomach ache as an alternate signal. I did not eat. Next time, my brain did not even bother sending me a signal because it's thinking: Why should I continue sending him signals if he does not follow them? So, I was actually starving, but I did not know that because I was not getting a signal that was starving. I had to force myself to eat what they had. I was fine the next day.

yea when I play a game or am outside all day. Anything that keeps my head busy but as soon as I'm not busy I realize I'm hungry.

Ive never actually forgotten to eat, or never just not been hungry. The longest I've gone is maybe 8hours, and I do that fairly regularly at school, or when I'm caregiving because its a private residence and we don't get breaks.

Im hungry all the time haha.

I never forget to eat because my tummy starts making the craziest and loudest rumbling sounds that constantly remind me "bitch, feed me." The longest I haven't eaten though was a little over 24 hours because I had a stomach virus and everything made me throw up.

yeah once I was rushing my final year project for design school, didn't eat for 2 days, forgot about drinking water, and I did not sleep at all. I felt like sh*t

Sometimes when I work way too much I will be like "Man I am hungry when did I last eat? Oh yeah I think it was like yesterday at breakfast and it's like 8pm tonight... hmmm"

Yeah, I forget it from time to time, but when I doesn't eat I get moodswings, so I have to force myself to eat :s

when I got all 4 wisdom teeth pulled, I didn't eat for days because my cheeks were so swollen and the pain meds kept putting me to sleep
