Are you doing this for yourself? Because that's what's important...you need to want it! There's nothing wrong with taking 1 or 2 days off from exercising in the week...your body needs to recover and you'll get burned out/have injuries otherwise. Remind yourself why you are doing this. Post pictures up in the house, positive thoughts, keep healthy foods in the house (and get rid of crappy ones), find support from friends...You have to realize that this is not going to be a walk in the park. It took time to gain the weight and it'll require patience to lose it! You can do it! Don't do fad diets...just burn more calories than you take in and make healthy living part of your life! =) P.S. I know for me awesome music helps when it comes to the working out part!

i can't relate to your situation but when it comes to being motivated in generally I always feel a fear of failure. that's usually what keeps me from achieving things.
just do it, that simple. I didn't need motivation to work out, because I saw results, but then I wasn't losing weight, I was trying to build muscle. Something as simple as pushups, situps and running. I've stopped doing situps as I don't really see the need, but I've gone from being able to do 10 pushups at a time to 50 in a couple months, and from barely being able to run 1.5 miles stopping and starting to being able to run the entire way. You just got to do it.
