thanks
Where would you rather live if you had to choose between the two, Canada or USA?
thanks
I live in Canada and prefer it.
I do want to point out that Canada and the U.S. are not the same, but they are quite similar. So its foolish to say something is great about one and not the other, because generally, anything one of them is amazing for, the other is pretty good for, and anything terrible about one is a problem in the other.
Although I prefer Canada, there are things about the U.S. I like better. A mental error we make in Canada (and occasionally in the u.s. when they think about canada, like when they think about health care) is to think of only one or the other, rather then taking the best of both.
Also, the U.S. has more latina women, that's the real drawback for Canada ;)
oh man you have not been to some parts of Canada recently. There are actually an increasing number of latino immigrants coming in lol
I am with you on what you said though. People think just because I replied to some of the offensive comments that I am "racist" against Americans who are not a race by the way. lol. I love America, been there many times and I plan to go again sometime this fall. There are some places that I find more enjoyable than here but realistically I can't "live" there for many reasons...
We have a fair number of central Americans, not many mexicans. And I'm complaining about that, just to be clear. ;)
I live near (and work in) Toronto. There is a huge rainbow of hot women from all over. Its cool.
I've spent my life pretty much evenly spread out between canada and the us. Dual citizen. Born in San Fran General and spent my childhood down there. I've been to 45 of 50 federal states and have family all over both countries. I currently live in canada and honestly I think I prefer having my residence in canada.
There is nothing wrong with the states but canada is... calmer. It's people make for an easier way of life. I love the states in small doses. I go up to Lake Tahoe at their northstar resort for 2weeks at Christmas and new years. I like my daily life in canada but I'll always go down to the states for my vacations.
I like both places :D I have never been to Canada and would HAVE if it wasn't for the border law change last year. I am sure there are great things about Canada but I'm sure there are some bad things too...Same as the US or any place for that fact. No place is perfect but you learn to make the best of it. I do love my country though and even though the topic that everyone seems to keep being brought up, crime and being shot, well honestly the part of the US where I live that doesn't happen. So please don't generalize America as this horrible place because of that. Come to Texas and I can show you a good time and introduce you to some of the friendliest people you can meet :D We are out there! ;)
Thats cool I don't judge people. Although so far all the people I have ran into from texas were either offensive or racist or both, but I still think there are good and bad people everywhere.
Shame on those Texans then! >:( ha ha We really aren't THAT bad! :P... And I agree! Every person is different and there is good and bad people everywhere.
Canada.
I'm originally from the Philippines, but I'm currently living in the United States right now.
I picked Canada because...well. I think that's pretty self-explanatory. If not, this will help: link
My cousins (who live in Canada) brought those back for us a few years ago.
Tastes amazing. I haven't found any stores here that sells them.
It sucks. One of the biggest reasons why Canada is better.
By the way, I'll be visiting Canada next Wednesday. Pretty excited if you ask me.
Where my cousins live? Or where I'm going?
Ontario. Driving is our main transportation, so it's hard to go to other provinces.
I'd really love to see the whole country though :)
It may not seem exciting for some people, but for me? It definitely is. Canada's awesome.
Nice! :)
Toronto's actually where my cousins live. I'm definitely going to go there. Thanks for the recommendation! :)
HAHA I am from the USA and I just at Smarties Candy yesterday! Y'all didn't look hard enough ;) They are very good though! Gotta agree! :D
lies... :P
I agree with QA. How and where did you find them?

I live in Canada, and I love living here. I've been to the USA a few times, and just didn't like the atmosphere and the people weren't all that friendly, but that may have just been where I was.
But yeah, I've only ever lived in Canada and I like it here.
where in USA did you visit?
Im from Us but I voted Canada. I been to Vancouver once the people where a hell of a lot nicer than California, the weather was suprisingly warmer then I thought, everything was just so peacefull. Not to mention free health care :)
you are welcome to come..I think most cali people are very chill btw
I just read through the answers on that questions and I find it hilarious of how he accuses Americans of being racist yet it's blatantly obvious in his replies that he's hella racist towards Americans.
That being said, I've visited both the US and Canada and liked the US better so I guess I'd rather live there.
I disagree actually. First of all, you can't be racist towards a country lol. Second of all I don't see where he was being racist. He might have made some offensive generalizations but the Americans clearly started it.
You can very well be discriminatory towards the inhabitants of a country, as evidenced by that guy. No wonder you don't see how he was being racist and you think "the Americans started it"; you seem to share the same views as him.
lol you made me laugh
Animal_lover is right, she is not prejudiced lol. They are the ones who gave out offensive answers or comments first saying that America is better than every other country. And she is also right about the racism part. What you are talking about is prejudiced or discrimination NOT racism and no it doesn't exist. I just annoyed them with popular stereotypes about "rednecks". I actually go to the States a lot and I have a great time each time I go lol
America. I lived in another country for two years and learned to love my country, despite sharing it with some dumb people.
If Canadians knew how to cook hamburgers, it would be a close call. Canadians are very kind and funny people, and they gave the world Colin Mochrie.
Where did you have those bad hamburgers because some places are fantastic! We also have great poutine that is actually why I like it here
Oh Can~ad~a! How I want to be live in yooooooou! I want to see~e all what you got to offer me~e! Oh Can~ad~a!
I want to live in Canda. I would LOVE to go to Canda. Anybody want to go on a raod trip with me to Canda?
Canada becaus I lived here my whole life and I have never been shot, I would like to keep it that way. :)
lmao
I live in the US, and wouldn't move (all of my family is here). I have been to Vancouver and Surrey a couple times, loved it when I went and would love to go back.
I'm from the USA and would like to live in Canada because it's a lot more peaceful. (:
Im from Canada, rather live in Canada even though nothing happens there aha.
I'll take Canada. I wish I could check it out without a passport. F***ing border rule change. I'm only 3 hours away from it. It would be a sweet trio for my friends and I.
I know! I was able to visit NY last year and my friends took me to Niagra Falls but I couldn't go across since just 2 months earlier they had passed the new border law! Majorly Sucked! :(
USA. It's cold and there's nothing in Canada so why would I wanna live there
shhhh don't tell her. I don't want the ignorant American morons to come here lol
LOL keep wondering. You obviously are very ignorant to not know the reason for that :). I didn't mean any offense to Americans though just the ignorant ones like you. Living in texas must suck as well...yeeeehaaaa
I'm becoming disillusioned with the US. I've never been to Canada but I've heard good things. I really want to move to Denmark, though.
I'd rather be in Canada. I actually plan to go there to get my master's degree in 3 years. Not soon enough though :(
The US system of crapitalism sucks, but California has a great climate. If I lived in one of the northern states, it would be a no brainer.
Canada, just because I live in the U.S now and looking for something different.
Canada I like the weather they get and they have hot women.
The United States, because it's better than Canada. Or anywhere else, for that matter.
(No offense to Canada.)
usa for my career. If I could just live off the land canada. Iv spent two weeks in canada it was ok.
canada because that's where all the hockey fans are. :)
I'm already in Canada and I'm not going anywhere.
