First be patient...it will take time! Most likely more than a couple of months. Start slow with high repetitions and lower weights. You will gain strength, get toned without bulking out. Include high intensity cardio as well.. I would do half weights, half cardo (don't forget the stretching too!). As for eating, cut out the unneccesary white carbs, or limit them. Make sure you get enough protein and eat well rounded meals. You will get there! You should definitely be able to do it by FEb..good luck!

A high protein, Low carb/sugar diet, but also watch fat intake. Cut out all regular sodas, etc. Drink lots of water. You can lose weight VERY quickly doing this. Be sure to take a good woman's vitamin though & I also recommend taking fish oil supplements. Walk as much as possible & the weight will literally fall off. In addition, do some good floor exercises that target your stomach & don't forget your upper body too.
