How can I fit in with my girlfriends?

I'm a tomboy and I hang out with my guy friends a lot. I usually have a lot of fun, but sometimes I just get sick of hanging out with all of these guys. But I don't really fit with the few girl friends that I have. The only thing we have in common is that we go to the same school. I wish I could hang out with them more, but I just feel so out of place when I do.

How can I fit better with my girl friends?

I forgot to say why I don't fit with my girl friends.


They usualy talk about guys, dating, and the sexual parts of relationships. I don't have anything to talk about with these topics.

Well, mabye if you get closer to your girl friends you can realize that maybe they're kind of tomboy-ish too and you'll find things in common with them. You can talk to them about guy advice and then take them to hang out with your guy friends, that way you can get closer with the girls while not straying from the guys. Try to go with the girls to whatever they do, the mall or movies or something and just see what the girlyness is like and maybe you'll like it. Then, you can take them to your activities and maybe they'll like it.

Well, if you really are getting tired of your guy friends, and want to hang out with your girlfriends, try adjusting to how they act and things but don't change yourself completely. The truth is in life is that you sometimes do need to change yourself to fit in, just don't go overboad and keep some of yourself inside of you.
