Are there any safe diet pills?

Question

I was thinking of purchasing the Mega-T Green Tea diet pills.

I just need something to control my appetite.

I try to keep my calorie intake low and I exercise quite a bit. I'm unfortunately still on my running schedule with steady running 3x a week and HIIT 2x a week but I will quit that running schedule and begin zumba.

But I need help controlling my appetite. I DO have self control, but I could use some added help to it. I won't say what my calorie intake is, but believe me it's low.

Appetite control, not supposed fat burning

I don't want chemicals which could possibly kill me haha

Are there any safe diet pills?

Have you considered seeking help for your body image issues? You already eat way too little and work out too hard. You've already admitted to going on a pro anorexia diet and "succeeded." You've been really short and cranky with people, which is something I did not see from you about a year ago. The crankiness is a sign of not getting enough food. You condoning an anorexic diet speaks volumes, as well.

Seriously, I'm not being rude or bitchy, but it's something I've noticed from your posts. You have a lot of the signs of someone who's developing an eating disorder due to body image issues. You've never really told anyone what your height or weight is, so it begs the question is all this obsession with losing weight and having "thin" legs really necessary? Given the work out schedule you provided and admitting to only eating 1000 calories a day, I'm beginning to wonder exactly what the state of your current weight is and if the advice you seek is really necessary.

You can flame me all you want. You're the only one who knows what's going on on that side of the screen, but from what you're portraying, it's cause for concern. There's been several red flags in your obsessive posts about exercise and weight loss. If you want to get sh*tty, fine. At least stop and think about it if it IS the case. Your posts are starting to expose this dangerous behavior.

i tried the mega t green tea because its mostly just green tea supplement I got the one with acai berry for antioxidants, and I didn't follow the package directions I think it said take 2 a day or something with regular exercise and diet, I only took one, so half a dosage and I didn't take them everyday either, just as needed, they basically keep you awake and give you energy to workout which is what I need sometimes esp if you lazy, they really get me pumped and I actually wanna go out hit the gym with my ipod, but again I only take one as needed on my lazy days which are once in a while

Stay away from diet pills. Some seizure medicines do cause safe weight loss but it's just not worth it. I simply eat an apple about an hour before each meal. The release of the fructose actually curbs your appetite a little. the safest way is to cut back a little. If you save just 500 calories a day, that will equal about 180,000 calories per year -- you will lose weight.

Just keep a daily caloric journal. Spread your meals; eat every 2-3 hours, and then, you won't be hungry. The only FDA approved diet drug is Alli.

The scary thing about supplements, is how unregulated they are. The FDA doesn't regulate those claims the companies make until things go wrong.

The pills that work the best and usually prescription and are usually only used for significant weight loss.

Keep in mind that your body is hungry for a reason- it needs fuel. However, switching to things that are low in calorie but fibrous will help keep you fuller longer. Protein and high fiber foods will keep you relatively full. try Quinoi or brown rice, veggies, etc. You can also substitute mushrooms in for meat.

I don't like diet pills but I actually take Alli after fatty meals and exercise on an almost daily basis.  My mom has tried some diet pills that don't work. Basically Alli blocks fat intake when you eat semi-fatty meals. I don't use it more than about 2 times a month, if I use it at all because of my diet. But I have been taking it for about 1-1.5 years. My mom used to use it before the doctor gave her something else.  You can tell when it works because when you use the restroom you can see grease in the water, its pretty disgusting to see in my opinion.

I personally wouldn't feel safe taking anything that calls itself a diet pill, even the supposedly "natural" ones. Most of the companies that make them have one thing in mind: money. Not your health. I take B vitamins for my metabolism and that's it. BUT my appetite has decreased a lot in the past few months now that I've started eating several small meals instead of 2-3 large meals. I recently read that people shouldn't go over 4 hours without eating because it sends your body into starvation mode. I also eat a lot of fiber and I think it's helped a lot.

Eat a dab of dark chocolate before meals.

1) Its delic.

2) If you only have a piece or two, it won't kill your "calorie budget"

3) It does suppress your apatite! A little bit of fat/sugar based calories before meals actually lowers your desire to eat more.

Don't do pills. If you want to lose the weight, figure out sustainable ways to change your diet/habits without supplements. Self control is the best thing you can learn. It may take a while. But its doable.

Hmm.. I bet your thin lol But I'd say... Be careful on the diet pills. A lot of people tell others to take diet pills so they can get money but they've proven to be dangerous. You don't need green tea pills to help you gain control over what you eat, you just need to eat more healthy. I'd say if you want to eat less, drink more water, eat more fruits and veggies.. lol and eat in control.

I think it's tried and true to stick to the old school way of losing weight. I've been routinely working out since mid summer and I've lost considerable weight. Although I do not watch my diet as closely as I should, I do try to run every day whether its a short one mile jog or up to 5 miles. I know its hard to stick to it, but it is well worth the hard work. I've gone from not being able to run to signing up for local charity marathons. Best of luck! PS, I love the profile picture :]

Don't take any of them.

If you want to take a diet pill. Use a caffeine pill. Caffeine decreases the apetite. Go to a local nutrionist. They can moderate you while you are on it. They will ask you for your blood work, so make sure you have that. Once a week they will weight you, take your blood pressure, and see if you are healthy in general.

I wouldn't suggest taking diet pills without being moderated. Plus, they don't work unless they come from a nutrionist.

I used to take Colon Detox Pills, which made me use the bathroom so much. I lost 7 pounds in 3 days. But I feel like the pills gave me depression, so I stopped.. but I was amazed with the results.

Most diet pills got pulled a long time ago because they were amphetamines and caffeine. What is available now is Alli (Orlistat) and it does work, but you should not use it unless you truly need it. It does have side effects as well.

there is no safe diet pill. you can put  teaspoon of apple cider vingear in a cup of water and drink it and it will cut the fat. lemon water is also good at detoxing the liver and cutting fat.
