I don't really pay a lot of attention in the weight room because I have to pay attention to what I'm doing. Plus, girls aren't striking any sexy poses in a weight room, believe me.
I don't get why girls seem self conscious there when they get checked out so much more in an aerobics class or yoga class where most guys go oly to look at them.
Nahh none of them really care at all. I mean, if there's a girl in there it just means they have someone to show off to. don't worry about it. If you need to lift, you need to lift. Don't let guys hold you back from that.

I see girls in the weight room all the time (its obviously still a 10+guys to girl ratio). And you're right, I normally just see them in the areas for floor work type stuff. Don't even worry about it. In fact, if you see some dude you're interested in it'd be ridiculously easy to pick him up - just say hey, what's the right form on this (and point to any piece of equipment).
IF they know gym edicate it's fine. I don't like the ones that put their phone, keys, water & towel on a bench that their not going to use. It's not a park bench.
If I see girls in the weight room I assume they're weighting for someone.
I think 'OMFG, a woman who might actually know how to exercise effectively.'
