I don't understand this female fascination with heels, they don't do anything but make girls look stupid when they stumble or complain about it hurting their feet.
If your feet start to discolor it could mean a lack of blood flow to them and needs medical attention. I'd wait and see if they are still numb by this evening, if they are it may be time to visit a walk in clinic or book or appointment with your doctor.
Sounds a bit odd, I've wore boots for several months and had to run in them and do 18 hour days solid as well as the odd bit of stand perfectly still for an hour or too. It's work related, but I had to go to a Chiropidist about my feet, it completely flattened my foot arches. So it could be a problem, best to check it out if there's any doubt...
Ugh yes, this happened to me once and I was so scared at first! Dancing for 6 hours in pointy-toed heels is NOT a good idea! I lost sensitivity in two of my toes and they didn't get back to normal for more than a month. But now they're okay, thank goodness :) It felt really weird to walk around.
That's happened to me before...I wore a pair of heels one night for a good 6 hours and did a lot of walking and 4 of my toes were numb the next day. They didn't regain feeling for a few days...obviously not the best result from wearing shoes, but you'll be fine : )

Yes it happens. It usually takes a few days to feel normal. Try to find shoes that allow more circulation/room. But no, your foot isn't dead. The circulation is just off from the shoes.
You have potential nerve damage. When you wore the heels it cut off the circulation to those toes for a pretty good amount of time. The feeling should return. Emphasis on the word Should.
Oh hun after at least 3 day feeling will come back, it just takes some time.
