How do I make pale skin look better?

I feel like I am doing something wrong. My skin is so incredibly pale and I don't want to tan or do anything to it. I just want it to look beautiful. I don't have any belmishes or anything, yet I still look so plain.

I just finished watching The Devil Wears Prada and that girl (I can't remember her name) has such beautiful pale skin. How do I get my skin to look like that?

Cleanse, tone and moisturise. Often.

Exfoliate to get that shine (but gently on the face, once a week tops, twice everywhere else).

If going out, opt for the lightest shade of foundation in a loose powder (looks more natural, and the lightest touch of a pink-based blusher stops you looking dead). A gold tinted, pearl powder gives you the glimmer of bronzing without looking like a pinto oompa-loompa.

If wearing sheer stockings, go with soft blush. Nothing darker.

Eat well, drink loads of water and most importantly, be confident. Your skin will show it.

Make up and lighting will do that. Pale skin beautiful. You try wearing light foundation with a little blush. Embrace your skin and don't try to achieve what others have but be grateful for what you have. Either take really good care of skin, vitamins, water, etc and forgo makeup or do a combination of both.

I recommend using some blush.Cheeks,forehead and chin.Remember,its a movie and they were all wearing tons of makeup.You don't have to wear a ton,but blush can make a big difference. :)

Buy products that up your radiance. It will make your skin shine and look really healthy. :)

If you have a Origins by you, they have a Radiance set...I forgot what it's called but they'll know it for sure. Also Neutrogena has a Healthy Skin line that has a radiance cream that makes my skin really soft and glowing.

use a shimmery powder, it has sort of the same affect as snow but not nearly intense, also wear cool colors like blue and light pink.

Don't wear colors that will make you look washed-out and try some good lotions :)

I don't know about The Devil Wears Prada, but just contrast your pale skin to some dark clothing, like a black, dark gray, or even navy blue dress. Pale skin goes beautifully with dark clothes.
