I have terrible cramps on my period, and they only come the first day...but extremely painful!
I have to go home from school sometimes too.
I take ibuprofen...it may not work for you, and it only reduces the pain for me. My mom is going to buy me midol next time.. (I'm on mine right now)
Another thing that helps is fill up a bucket (or the bath tub but I like a bucket or a bowl so that I can watch tv) with warm, almost hot water. At a temperature that you can handle. Stick your feet in there for about 15 minutes. I heard from a friend that the heat travels from your feet to where the pain is during your period. I did it once and it helped a lot and relaxed me.
also if you are able to wear tampons, take a warm bath. Those are great.
I was going to get birth control pills but one of my friends said it made her period come 2 weeks late and messed everything up...so I'm kinda scared about that now..

I had a prescription for specific pain killers since I had a condition related to menstrual cramps. Before that, I would drink a lot of cinnamon tea (that helps a bunch), sleep a ton, and fill up buckets of hot water to hold against my belly and feet. Then I would take a bunch of advil and curl up in a bed full of blankets. Heat helps a bunch, exercising does, too.
Now that I'm on birth control, I haven't had many cramps at all.
I don't have any advice to offer, but I'm really sorry to hear about your vag.

I have the same, it is god awful where I live they have this medicine called naprogesic ( it is made only for period pain relief) and it lasts 6-8 hours it is amazing but if you can't get it go to the chemist and ask them to suggest something or take nurofen it should work.
uummm well my periods used to be terrible ... really heavy and terrible cramps but I went to the doctors and one option was pregnancy pills... it helps with the cramps and helps making the heavy period a bit less... only side effect is some people get acne from pregnancy pills :P
You can look up exercises on google that's what my friend did and I helped her (I think) or get pills for menstrual relief or something (if you wanna try something besides advil).
tons of advil, heating pad, tea, umm.. a few months ago I had a string of HORRIBLE cramps for 3ish months that I couldn't figure out how to get rid of. literally the worst pain I've felt in my life.
I know it sounds like the last thing you wanna do when you're in the fetal position and miserable but exercise will help. it's best if you do it before they get really bad or else you'll be exercising with terrible cramps feeling like you are gonna throw up...but either way it will still help to relieve them.
Sleep as much as possible. Muscle reelaxers help too. And birth control pills.
Magnesium is a natural muscle relaxer I think. But too much can give you runny #2's.I suffer from that pain. I go to my OB gyne and she said it is because of hormonal imbalance. You should go to your OB as well.
