Girls! What do you think when you see pimples?

I'll admit it, I've got some pimples. Not a ton at all, and they are not big whatsoever. They are just randomly scattered, and there is nothing I can do about them. I take showers everyday and wash my face. They aren't noticeable from a few feet away, but if I get close there are a couple obvious ones.

How big of a deal are they? Would they make you not want to date that guy? Like is it that big of a turnoff, or are they manageable?

Honest answers please! I am not shy about them, and they don't make me lose confidence or anything...I'm just curious to see if they would have any negative impact in getting a second date...

how big of a deal are they? not a big deal at all; I get them, my boyfriend gets them, just about everyone gets them regularly or every so often, and I'm sure at some point absolutely everyone has had them.

would they make me not want to date the guy? no; that's stupid, my boyfriend usually has a few all the time and I don't mind them at all, I still love they way he looks and it doesn't really take away from that, it just makes him look like he isn't obsessing over his looks which is a good thing.

big turnoff or managable? certainly managable.

also there are some things you can do about it. you are likely not using the right facial wash for your skin type. one thing you can try on any skin type would be oatmeal. take a handful of dried oats and close them in your hand and drain some water over your hand letting the water seep through your fingers making the oatmeal wet. apply all over your face rubbing it in as much as possible, then wash off with warm water and apply moisturizer. it sounds weird but its amazing. also I don't necessarily recommend this for people who don't classify themselves as the insane lol but cutting a slice or half a lemon and rubbing it/squirting the juice all over your face and leaving it on for a few minutes. it gets itchy and it stings if you have cuts or pimples on your face but it evens out your skin tone and it made my pimples half the size almost right away. then I wash with oatmeal after to reduce redness and sooth it and moisturize. I say its worth the itchiness and stinging but it may not be for everyone.

my first thoughts would me "oh look, he's normal!" everyone gets them at some point so nothing to worry about :) I know people with severe acne and are in a great relationship so you're good to go.

by the way you're going to think I'm a freak, I wouldn't blame you but I use honey and baking soda mixed together on my face for 20 minutes. I swear by it, it makes skin SO much better! just don't taste it!

haha whatever works. But one more thing...do you know of any way to hide them temporarily? I'm going on a date tonight and there is just one that stands out. Most of them are really small and are hard to see, but there is one just below one of my eyes that stands out. And if I go for a kiss on the first date, it is right there...so any suggestions to cover up one of them would be awesome! And I'm in college and don't have access to makeup so yea...

hmm... no make-up huh? tough one. well you can't really hide then but I do have a few home remedies that might make a big difference after you use them but you can't be the fussy type. ready? OK choice1) wash your face with head and shoulders (it works like a charm) rub it in your skin and then wash it off and pat dry OR 2) rub half a tomato on your face for however long you can. your skin will start glowing. if you don't want to do this... don't but it's worth a try if you ask me :)

well, obviously pimples a gross. BUT we have all had them in life, who doesn't?

i wouldn't date the guy if I seen those huge big white pus filled ones, its like dude, pop the effing thing! and to a certain extent yes they are manageable.

No, in my opinion it's not really a turn off. a guy can still have a really cute face even if there's acne in the way. it's not your fault you have them lol you have nothing to worry about!

It's true! Once you have a LTR, the girl usually squeals with joy if you develop a back zit. Just look on YouTube. Or better yet, DON'T!
