What are these dark marks on each side of my face? I have two symmetric marks on my face they're kinda triangle shaped. I have high cheekbones, but I don't think it has anything to do with them. My mom think it has do do with diabetes. I am on birth control, but I had them before I got on it.

Anybody know what it could be? Do you have them too?

It sounds like a case of Melasma. Its a common skin condition where patches occur symmetrically on your face. There's no really known cause of melasma but genetics, change in hormones, change in sunlight, etc. are all things that may cause it. It sounds like the hormones in your birth control may have played a part in it but that's just my guess.

Research Melasma more. See if your symptoms are similar. There's creams and ways to treat I'm pretty sure you'll have to see a doctor for that.
