Scars, turn off or turn on?

I've lived a pretty crazy life, and have "been around the block" so to say. I'm not a criminal or anything, I have just seen the tougher side of life.

I have lots of scars and a few small burns on my body. Some from blades, glass, hot oil, finger nails, tools, etc. I am not insecure about them at all. I consider them "mother nature's tattoos." :p

What are your opinions?

I like to inspect scars - the more, the merrier. It's an added bonus if there's a story behind a scar.

I'm in the habit of touching scars absent-mindedly. I poke at mine when I'm concentrating, and it seems like I always end up tracing my boyfriend's scars when I'm stroking his arms.

Scars are wonderful.

Unfortunately, my boyfriend doesn't really know where he got most of his. But his friend, Dakota, has a bunch (he's "accident prone") that are ridiculous :)

Not a turn on but not necessarily a turn off either. If he had a huge knife scar right across his face then I would probably be more turned off by his lifestyle than the scar itself. But if he had a huge surgical scar running down his entire body, that would not matter to me and I would just be happy that he is alive.

Haha it's funny that you mention a knife scar on the face. I happen to have one. Not a product of a lifestyle as much as it is the product of the environment I was in.

I have many scars, I'm accident prone and I've gotten into a few fights during my mms tournaments.

to me they are a turn on because I like touching them. also because they have a story behind them whether its funny or serious. I like asking people how they got them.

I have quite a lot of scars too,partly because I'm accident prone, partly because doing dangerous stupid things gives me a thrill, and partly because some are self inflicted :/

I like scars, they all have stories and that seems cool to me. I wouldn't say they're particulary a turn on when they're on other people, but I know when my boyfriend touches mine and traces them with his fingertips I get a little thrill :3

I hardly notice them unless they are completely obvious. Then it doesn't bother me
