What type do you drink? Why do you drink the one that you choose (or dislike the others that you don't choose)?

Oops! I voted 2% but I actually only drink 1%. Sorry about that. I drink it because I like it, it tastes good to me. I grew up drinking the good stuff too, whole milk. So, coming down to the 1% was hard, but it's better for you. I use fat free half & half in my coffee. Milk is not so good in coffee. I do like 2%, it tastes the best, but for health reasons, I stick with 1%.

Nutritionally, you should be drinking 2%. Kids are the only ones who need all the stuff in whole milk. Once you get older, drinking 2% is better for you.

almond. its got 50 percent more calcium. milk these days is pretty useless for your heath. Cows milk doesn't even have enough calcium to raise its young without the help of someone else. But just as a warning... soy is awful for you. don't drink it.

Dairy does have a spot...but on the (original) Food Pyramid it doesn't deserve its own spot lol.

To me, milk is one of the most affordable sources of protein, and frankly that's why I consume milk.

If it wasn't for its "protein bargain" I wouldn't consume it much at all; I'd go with almond milk lol.

I don't drink milk, unless it's going in cereal. Considering it may actually do more harm to your calcium levels than good, I'm glad I never liked milk.

this may sound strange but I can't really tell the difference between skim milk-2% :P also sometimes I drink cream... lol like 13% but majority of the time its 1%

Skin is like water... Whole is too much. 1-2%. Imo 1%

2% is what my mum buys. I can't tell the difference between the other kinds except for skim, and it all tastes the same when it's got chocolate in it, anyway.

I normally get 2% or whole. I'm not big on processed foods, and in a way I think full fat dairy can actually be healthier. I get raw milk when I can.

We usually have 1% in the house, because it is what my parents are used to. But I have a preference for 2% or higher.

Occasionally I drink strawberry or chocolate milk but not typically because it gives me a rash if I have too much

i drink low-fat milk. I stopped drinking whole milk in high school when I heard that it wasn't healthy for young adults or teenagers. I drink low-fat milk because I'm trying to have a healthier diet and it's better for you.
