Laying down. I try to get up and about when I am sick and I feel so weak that I have to lay down, and then when I get up I feel a bit better... Also colds get over with quicker if you just lay in bed. Drink LOTS of water, as you flush out toxins. My parents did this thing when I was younger where they'd put vinegar on socks and make you put it on your feet and sleep on it to get rid of a fever. I also had newspapers dipped in eggs? put on my back to draw out the fever...weird, but effective I suppose...

drink tea like a maniac. my mom got me into that, I've done it since I was young.
take vitamin c constantly. also from my mom, but it certainly works. also done it since I was young.
watch smallville, like entire seasons at a time. been doing that since 6 years ago when I got obsessed with the show.
lye in bed all day long. been doing this since I was very little. I got sick on a regular basis since I was about 8 so since forever really.
Taking enough calories, enough fresh air, enough activity and enough sleep.
When I was a kid I got regularly sick to the point I started to wander would I survive if I would be born few centuries ago?
But since the age of 17 when I started to follow this way I -never- got seriously sick until now and counting.

If I'm already sick, then usually I just lie in bed and sleep - partly because I'm tired and partly because I'll already feel like crap so sleeping will make me not feel that.
Otherwise, I go see the doctor and just drink lots of hot tea.Depends what I'm ill with. Usually rest, water, tea with honey, if it's a cold or flu. And day quill & halls. Puffs with lotion. Homemade chicken noodle soup with garlic, that's the key!
