Am I the only guy that feels this way?

You know how some girls say: "I get along with guy better"

Well I feel I'm the opposite. I get along with girls better than I do guys.

I don't think I've ever met another guy who has said "I get along better with girls"

Is there anything I can do that will help me be one of the guys?

P.S. Whenever I do hang out with 'the guys', they end up talking about females in a crude way (calling them sl*ts and wh*res etc) and I have zero tolerance for anyone who does. I usually stay quiet or voice my opinion and say you shouldn't call girls those names. But they end up calling me gay or something. And when they start talking about sports I also stay quiet because I don't really follow sports.

Any tips?

You are hanging out with the wrong guys then...

Most of the conversations I have with dudes involves complaining about school, nerdy stuff, or just making fun of stuff.

But I will say that it is also easier for me to make friends with a girl than a guy, because I think the sexual attraction to the gender makes you more outgoing toward them, you know? Yes you are looking for platonic social engagement, but in the back of my mind you know that girl has lady parts that you wouldn't mind working with in the bedroom. That's crude, but true.

Ditto to torken. You sound like you're hanging out with the wrong circle of guys. I would fish around other guys and see if you could find another circle to hang out with because if you stay with the group you're with right now then you're either going to be unhappy or you're going to become them. When you're with a circle you're comfortable with, you don't really feel like you get along with one particular gender better, even if you do happen to hang out with more guys or more girls.

Find different friends...that do things more your speed. Your obviously trying to fit into a crowd that is not your scene what so ever. There are other men out there that feel the way you do and no they are not gay...not all straight men watch sports or refer to women in such a negative way. Join groups that involve things you do like to do and meet new friends that enjoy what you do. Leave the old friends in the dust...That is what I would do.
